Penang Trip!!! COOOOLL!!!

So it happened that one day my friend mentioned that she's going to Penang for the hols. Penang? Cool! I've never been there yet, how about I go along with her? So I asked permission from my parents, and set off on the journey.

So through my friend, Cacing, I got to know 3 other cool girls. Glad I knew them, they were one hillarious lot. They are really friendly too. I just got to knew them, but the 5 of us make a pretty good team there.

One of the girls, Xiao Tian, have a few aunts there. We lodged in the house of one of her aunts, while the other aunt showed us around. We went to Kek Lok Si, visited the Burmese and Siamese temples, enjoyed a whole lot of Penang food, took pictures at Gurney Drive while enjoying the winds.

The next day, aunt took us to the beach. Hehe~ I went parachute sailing there. Whoa~ It's way too cool! Imagine flying high up there, getting a full view of the beach and the resor and the mountains... I'd fly up there again if I had enough cash with me. We also enjoyed a banana boat ride, Yee haa~! Then we went up the Penang Hill, where a foreigner remarked on Cacing's newly-bought shirt with a frog on it. Boy, was she glad! She can't stop talking about it for the next 20 minutes.

Believe or not, I went to have a prediction made in the Siamese temple. It said that it is a suitable time for me to travel (which I am doing anyway), and I'll receive a lot of benefits from others. And it's true for me there. We received very good hospitality from Tian's aunts, especially the aunt who showed us around. And also thanks to my friend, Lincoln, who tooked us to a dim sum breakfast on our final day in Penang, took us to Khoo Kongsi and sent us to the bu station. That guy can make friends anywhere, anytime. He just met the girls and they just hit it off like that. Remarkable!

Wow! I had such a great time there! :D Probably I'll go there again some other time. Life is short, but if it's full, it's worth it! Thanks to my parents, all my friends and everybody who made it possible!
